The world is changing fast due to anthropogenic human actions, such as climate change and human land use. Multiple pressures have led to local and global loss of biodiversity. Our research aims to understand how different drivers are influencing biodiversity and how the situation could be improved using especially birds as a study taxon. The research is often based on large scale long-term ecological time series and other macro-ecological approaches.
