Panel discussion on radicalisation at Think Corner

Saija Benjamin from the Growing up Radical? project was invited to discuss radicalisation from the youth and educational institutions' perspectives on 25th Nov. 2020 in University of Helsinki's Think Corner, together with Finland's leading terrorism researcher Dr. Leena Malkki and Dr. Marko Juntunen, researcher on Islam and the Muslim communities in Finland.

The aim of the panel discussion was to present researchers' thoughts on radicalization and the possible reasons behind it. What role do experiences of injustice, inequality, and inclusion, for example, play? How can the adoption of violent attitudes and actions be prevented? The event was hosted by Professor Reetta Räty.
