Miikka Laitinen will defend his doctoral dissertation entitled "Gelation of oat macromolecules: Understanding the drivers of structure formation" in the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Helsinki, on 12th June 2026 at 12.00.
The public examination will take place at the Metsätieteiden talo, Hall 108 (ls B3) Latokartanonkaari 7, 00790 Helsinki and can also be followed via live stream.
The opponent will be Professor Athina Lazaridou (School of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece) and I will serve as the custos.
