Zhongqian Cheng published two new studies

Zhongqian Cheng has published two new studies based on fieldwork along an elevational gradient in northwestern Yunnan, near the border with Tibet. The very recent examines the disturbance history of the region and its implications for carbon dynamics. Notably, the study includes an unusually wide range of disturbance types. An earlier focused on vegetation structure and species richness across the same mountainous gradient. Zhongqian Cheng conducted this research during her time at Peking University, where Markku Larjavaara initially served as her supervisor.
