Nature Plants: Amazon Trees Are Growing Larger — Our Group Contributed Peer-Review

An published in Nature Plants reports new insights into tree size dynamics in Amazonia. The study has received wide media attention, including in The Guardian, which headlined: “Big trees in Amazon more climate-resistant than previously believed”. In their analysis, Adriane Esquivel-Muelbert and colleagues show that trees in long-term old-growth plots have become larger over recent decades. Our Forest Structure and Dynamics research group contributed to the peer-review of the article with disclosed identity.
