Law is about human behaviour. Psychologist are experts at doing research on human behaviour. The marriage of law and psychology is inevitable.

Forensic psychology research group focuses on human behaviour and its control, regulation, and facilitation in the context of law and legal actors. Specific interest is on expanding research into new areas within the legal system. The group conducts longitudinal, correlational and experimental studies. Currently, the main focus of the research is on stress, trauma and wellbeing in the legal system, court hearing and police interview in relation to trauma memory and EMDR therapy.
