The Ethnolinguistic Mobilisation Research Group (EMRG) was founded in 2026 and brings together researchers interested in the political behavior of linguistic minorities. We examine how ethnolinguistic identities are created and leveraged during the process of political mobilization, and how structural factors, such as institutions, electoral systems, and cultural context, may influence this process.
