PhD workshop

Mapping (your) research in context(s)

October 2nd between 13-18

We would like to invite all doctoral students to this Ph.D. workshop where we facilitate various ways of mapping your projects; in this way, you will learn new things about what it is you are doing. Also, we will map out how to create different framings and contextualisations for your research in order for us to see things in a new light and reflect on how you can use the works, thoughts, and input of others, for example during a conference, to mirror and produce reflections of your own work in progress.

This is a hands-on workshop where we will produce insights, analysis, conceptualizations and new collegiate networks in a playful, still productive workspace. We share and experiment with formats and ideas and ways of representing our academic work and the work of others.

The workshop takes place on Wednesday, October 2nd between 13-18 (in the evening, there is an option to go eat together and hang out for informal chats and networking), and in allocated timeslots during the DORS conference (to be announced). The workshop is included in the conference registration price, however dinner in the evening and any possible lunch/snacks in the day of the workshop are not included.
