The cooperative project is funded by Business Finland, and it will produce innovative, executable models to support learning with carry-on technology, such as mobile games and AR. Accessible and intuitive solutions, such as real-time feedback in mobile apps, could motivate and direct learning towards a more holistic form.
Musiikkia arkeen is also a significant step in strengthening Finnish networks and economic life. It will map the need for and applicability of certain technological solutions, with the intention of including businesses in the project from the start. Business collaboration and the team’s expertise in music, technology, pedagogy, and brain research will also offer a unique environment for testing new solutions and innovations.
The project is carried out by the CICERO Learning Network at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Helsinki and the Department of Music, Art and Culture studies and the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Jyväskylä
