How can we study the emotions of people who lived centuries or millennia ago? The History of Emotions Symposium addresses this question from an interdisciplinary perspective, bringing together scholars from neuroscience, history, literature, and language technology. The Symposium aims to dig deeper into the history of emotions, reaching back to ancient Mediterranean and Mesopotamian civilizations.
Venue: University of Helsinki, the faculty hall of the Faculty of Theology, Fabianinkatu 24, room 524 (access via Vuorikatu 3).
