AMME Seminar on Migration and Ethnic Identity (Helsinki, 30 Jan 2018)

After a short break, the Ancient and Medieval Middle East (AMME) seminar is relaunched this spring, in conjunction with the start of the Centre of Excellence in Ancient Near Eastern Empires.

The first meeting takes place on Tuesday 30 January at 4:15-6 pm in the faculty hall of the Faculty of Theology (Fabianinkatu 24, room 524, access from the inner courtyard of Vuorikatu 3). Tero Alstola will give a presentation on “Judeans and Babylonians: Migration and Ethnic Identity in the Ancient Near East”.

Participation is free for all and no registration is required. Three more seminar meetings will be organised this spring and they will be advertised on this website.
