The Advanced Computing Hub Finland is part of a larger EUROfusion project consisting of five hubs providing the computational support to 14 specific projects and all of EUROfusion, solving the still unanswered questions related to fusion energy. This network of projects worked to advance the understanding of fusion devices and improve the predictive capability of the simulation models. The Advanced Computing Hub Finland focused on providing support in the utilization of artificial intelligence, tools for validation, verification and uncertainty quantification, and help with GPU programming and data-management, among other things. The hub was a collaboration between University of Helsinki, Aalto University, Åbo Akademi University, the Finnish National Research Institute VTT and CSC - the Finnish IT Center for Science. The hub was active until the end of 2025.
