When planning a course, please contact director Marko Reinikainen well in advance to confirm the availability of facilities and resources. Then fill in the Course form with the details of your course and send it to tvarminne-zool@helsinki.fi.

TZS has two lecture rooms, both for ca 40 persons. The student dormitory has a room with a fireplace, which can be used as a lecture room for ca 30 persons.

Courses can use boats, field and laboratory equipment, aquarium and laboratory facilities, and workrooms on certain terms. Use has to be reserved in advance using the course form and is liable to charge. For laboratory analyses a separate order form has to be sent to tvarminne-zool@helsinki.fi. More information can be found under Information for researchers and by contacting the relevant staff. In addition, detailed instructions for working at TZS and the use of facilities and equipment can be found in the Handbook.
