Representatives from four leading Nordic research institutions gathered at the University of Helsinki on 7th March 2024 to officially launch NUEI, the Nordic University Cooperation on Edge Intelligence. The five-year NordForsk-funded University Cooperation initiative (2024–2028) brings together expertise across Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark to strengthen national research and innovation systems by increasing the capacity and the ability of Nordic nations to address European and global cooperation and competition, to form a long-term partnership for expanding edge intelligence cooperation in the Nordic region, as well as increasing their competitiveness and growth via research and innovation.
