Arts‑based learning refers to a pedagogical approach that uses different forms of art, such as music, visual arts, dance, drama, and literature, as a medium to enhance learning in various subject areas, such as mathematics. This approach is rooted in the idea that engagement with art provides meaningful experiences that promote deeper learning, connect disciplines and integrate perspectives, and create emotional bonds with the study content, thereby facilitating learning.
MArBLeS seeks new knowledge about the effects of arts‑based methods on mathematics learning, as well as how these methods influence mindsets, stress levels, and anxiety, and potentially contribute to learning.
