The cross-university collaborative project "Algorithmic Governance in Context" was conducted as a series of workshops between 2019 and 2022. Revolving around the implications of the rapidly growing phenomenon of algorithmic governance, the project facilitated empirically driven research that reveals the forms and effects of algorithmic governance in diverse social, political, and cultural contexts. Funded by The Joint Committee for Nordic research councils in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NOS-HS), the project brought together researchers working in the three organising Nordic universities as well as early career and established European and US scholars of algorithmic governance.
