Matthias Rillig's group at Freie Universität Berlin is interested in plant - soil biota - soil interactions, with a focus on fungi (arbuscular mycorrhizal, endophytic, saprobic). Main topics in the lab currently are global change, agroecosystems, microbial community coalescence and the biodiversity of soil aggregation.
