DECARBON-HOME consortium funded by Academy of Finland

The consortium promotes a fair sustainability shift in construction and housing towards low carbon, especially in urban and rural suburbs

The DECARBON-HOME research consortium, led by Professor Anne Toppinen, promotes a fair sustainability shift in construction and housing towards low carbon, especially in urban and rural suburbs.

The consortium has received funding of EUR 3.7 million from the Academy of Finland for three years.

Assistant Professor Venla Bernelius from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences from the University of Helsinki is also involved in the project. In addition, the Finnish Environment Institute SYKE, the Natural Resources Center Luke and the University of Vaasa, as well as Tallinn University of Technology are involved.
