Visiting Scholar in the Nuclear waste disposal team
Sumio Migita from the Japan Patent Office (JPO), also engaged as a researcher by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), will study for 12 months as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Chemistry in the University of Helsinki, in Finland.
Sumio will stay from November 2018 to October 2019 and study the basic and advanced radiochemistry courses. He will also support the research work of the team. Suomio Migita graduated from the department of Electronic Engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2008.
