During a weekend in February 2019 the students went with recorders for a walk through the city and area around Helsinki. They recorded the sounds of their surroundings. So they came back with original soundtracks of a jam session, the metro noises, a mall, sports, a night out, a walk to a park and a sitsit, a typical Finnish student party. Together the students then analyzed and edited their recordings and produced a sound collage. Finally, the students created a unique and authentic portrait of the sounds of the city of Helsinki.
