Katherine Stewart's latest book is The Power Worshippers: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Religious Nationalism (Bloomsbury). She is a frequent contributer to The New York Times, The New York Review of Books, The New Republic and others. The Power Worshippers was awarded First Place in the Excellence in Nonfiction Books category by the Religion News Association. The book also received the Morris D. Forkosch Award for Best Book in Humanism.
