The activities of Viikki Wood and Forest Innovation Hub started in July 2024. City of Helsinki’s Innovation Fund has granted two-year funding for a project aimed at developing and establishing an innovation cluster for sustainability and the green transition at the Viikki campus.
In 2025 and 2026, new master’s programs will be launched: Technologies for the Sustainable Use of Renewable Natural Resources and the Dual Master’s Programme in Green Business. In addition, assistant professorships in innovation management and laser scanning will be established.
