Based at USC’s top-ranked Rossier School of Education in Los Angeles, the USC Edtech Accelerator is a virtual program supporting Edtech startups worldwide. Participants gain tailored guidance, access to USC’s expert network, and connections across the education ecosystem. Now entering its eighth year, the accelerator has helped companies raise over $135 million and reach more than 24 million learners, while remaining tuition-free and equity-free.
Together, USC Edtech Accelerator and Helsinki Education Hub will collaborate to strengthen cross-border Edtech innovation and create new opportunities for early-stage companies. The partnership will deepen combined offerings, open new markets, and foster research, innovation, and collaboration between the ecosystems.
"This cooperation gives us in Helsinki a great opportunity to learn more about the US Edtech ecosystem and support Finnish early-stage companies to test the ground in the world's biggest Edtech market. At the same time, it allows us to understand technological (Edtech) developments in the US faster and test those ideas here in Finland", says Niko Lindholm from Helsinki Education Hub.
We’re excited to see how this partnership will benefit Edtech startups in our programs and the broader education innovation community!
