The Incubation program is designed to support the teams in developing a digital solution that is aligned with the latest evidence on learning and teaching. This happens through two key streams within the program structure:
- Workshops and mentoring on Learning Sciences and how to build a solution based on research.
- Lean Launchpad, a research-driven product development model that guides teams in creating solutions with a structured, evidence-based approach.
Throughout the program, the teams will work with mentors from the Faculty of Educational Sciences and the University of Helsinki’s broader innovation network, for example, the Global Campus project, who will provide tailored support based on each team’s needs.
Additionally, the teams will have opportunities to co-develop their solutions and gain feedback from other innovation programs and networks, such as Helsinki EdTech Testbed, the Innokas Network and the Teacher Training School Network.
The teams selected for the first cohort are:
- Atom
- Blendin
- Elina Education
- HappyFam
- Nedu AI

We look forward to seeing how these innovative teams will shape the future of education!
