Applications Open for Helsinki Education Hub’s EdTech Incubator: Elevate your EdTech startup!

One of the main issues in EdTech today is the lack of evidence — specifically, whether a solution improves learning outcomes and how. To address this challenge, Helsinki Education Hub (HEH) has created a unique EdTech program to assist startups in developing impactful, research-based solutions.

The application period for HEH’s Incubation program is now open and will close on October 2, 2024. Through this program, startups will connect with experts in learning science, research, and business to refine their solutions. They will have the opportunity to accelerate minimum viable product (MVP) – the most basic version of their product that is still capable of delivering value to users – using the EdTech-specific Product development program. In addition, they are able to validate their solutions through the Helsinki EdTech Testbed and other innovation networks. These testbeds, provided by the City of Helsinki, offer physical or virtual environments for developing and testing new products and services under real-life conditions.

The Incubation Program is designed for early-stage EdTech startups that are ready to advance from prototype to minimum viable product and drive transformation in education both in Finland and internationally. The program begins on October 28, 2024, and ends on January 31, 2025.
