Research at KRIMO

The Institute of Criminology and Legal Policy, or KRIMO for short, is a multidisciplinary research institute at the University of Helsinki, specialising in research and monitoring of crime and legal policy in Finland. While most of our resident researchers come from social sciences or legal background, KRIMO welcomes applicants for the visitor programme for all disciplinary backgrounds.
