Food consumption and nutrient intake facilities and services

We are collaborating in harmonization and digitalization of dietary data collection methods, associated dietary information databases and calculation systems, and broadening their use in multiple contexts.

Our main focus is in family nutrition and wellbeing in assessing the population nutrition and contributing to developing a healthier and more sustainable food system. Investigations concerning effects of natural and controlled means for steering food retail and purchases is also among our expertise. The facilities are located at Viikki Campus (Agnes Sjöbergin katu 2) at the Department of Food and Nutrition.
