We got a great result from the Academy of Finland funding call this year, especially in the research Council for Biosciences, Health and the Environment.

Jaana Bäck, Veli-Matti Kerminen  et al. got a consortium project on Biogeochemical and biophysical feedbacks from forest harvesting to climate change; Teemu Hölttä got a project on a whole tree level approach to study source and sink limitation of tree metabolism, Yann Salmon got an academy research fellow project on phloem ecophysiology: from mechanistic phenomena to ecological implications, Leena Järvi and Liisa Kulmala got an academy project funding for early-career researchers as a consortium project on urban green space solutions in carbon neutral cities, Anne Ojala and Jukka Pumpanen got a consortium project on cascading carbon flow in managed forested catchments, Maarit Raivonen et al. got a consortium project on methane and soil - tree networks: Adding dimensions to greenhouse-gas studies. Congratulations for all!
