Long-term monitoring of environment is strengthened as eLTER infrastructure was accepted in the European ESFRI roadmap with top grades.

eLTER infrastructure focuses on long-term observations of ecosystems and their change at permanent research sites around Europe. The joint eLTER data offers important knowledge and enable service development for researchers, decision makers, authorities, education and local citizens. eLTER activities in Finland are coordinated by prof.
