HOPE project received 4.6 M euros EU Urban Innovative Actions funding to produce 5G air quality data.

The project is led by the city of Helsinki, and other partners are University of Helsinki, Finnish Meteorological Institute, Vaisala, Forum Virium Helsinki, HSY and Useless. The idea in the project is to utilize open testbed, comprehensive sensor data, network technology, and our understanding on air quality to create prerequisites for new services and business. The University of Helsinki share in the project is part of the wider MegaSense research program. Read more in Finnish here.
