The Academy of Finland and Russian Foundation for Basic Research have granted funding for five joint Finnish-Russian projects on Arctic research. Jaana Bäck (UH) and Sergej Zilintinkevich (FMI) received consortia project funding to study responses and adaptation of Arctic ecosystems to climate change, and Christina Biasi (UEF) to study nitrous oxide budget in Arctic region.
