HiLIFE Webinars
The organizing teams the Biomedicum Helsinki and Viikki Monday seminars have joined forces to offer you science for lunch on Mondays! HiLIFE webinars continue the tradition of inviting outstanding, international scientists to present their work to the broad audience of the life science community during the extraordinary circumstances that restrict travel and personal contact.

Speaker call for 2023 seminars

We invite outstanding, international level speaker nominations for the 2023 HiLIFE seminars. The main goal of HiLIFE seminars is to unite campuses and promote inter-campus connections and inter-disciplinary ideas. Therefore, an ideal speaker links their work to a broader audience.

This in mind, nominations are welcomed from principal investigators, postdocs and PhD-students. Speakers can be invited to have an onsite seminar in Helsinki as a prioritized option, or a webinar from the speaker’s own location. The seminar series will continue biweekly on both campuses on Monday at 13.00 and can also be followed online. Exceptions can be considered only for special occasions, such as for broadly interesting speakers from distant time-zones. Lunch with the Speaker tradition for PhD students and postdocs (5-15 places) is revived and coordinated by host-group.

Please submit your suggestion(s) by 15th November here.
