Special recognition of the Pharmaceutical Industry Research Foundation awarded to Aarno Palotie
FIMM’s Research Director Aarno Palotie received a special recognition award from the Finnish Pharmaceutical Industry Research Foundation. The award was announced at Pharma Industry Finland’s 60 years Jubilee Seminar held yesterday, 27 April 2017. The seminar focused on the benefits of public-private partnerships in research and innovation.
The €10 000 prize recognises both outstanding medical research, and international promotion of the Finnish research environment. Academy Professor Sirpa Jalkanen from the University of Turku also received the prize.
