The world’s most renowned expeditions set sail centuries ago. But the next journey of discovery starts in Finland. The FinnGen genetic research project covers the whole of Finland and will involve 500,000 Finns over the next few years. Through this research, we will soon be able to better understand the importance of our genes in determining our health compared to our environment or lifestyle choices.
