Helsinki Brain Awareness Week 2020

A STATE OF EMERGENCY DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS SITUATION - CHANGE IN THE PROGRAM. In light of the current news about the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel all the Helsinki Brain Awareness Week events. The Brain Health event on March 20th may be available as a webinar; please see the Facebook page for up to date information.

While the virus may not have a strong impact on young, healthy individuals, we want to protect the vulnerable individuals in our community, as well as use social distancing as a tool to mitigate the effect of the epidemic on the medical system.

All planned events are cancelled but Brain Health Event: Storytelling and Wellbeing. Event will be held as an online lecture.

Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research, uniting the efforts of partner organizations from around the world in a week-long celebration of the brain.
