While the virus may not have a strong impact on young, healthy individuals, we want to protect the vulnerable individuals in our community, as well as use social distancing as a tool to mitigate the effect of the epidemic on the medical system.

Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research, uniting the efforts of partner organizations from around the world in a week-long celebration of the brain. The 25th Anniversary Brain Awareness Week will take place in Helsinki on March 16-22, 2020 at the University of Helsinki and Helsinki University Hospital.

Popular talks on brain mechanisms of storytelling and interactive storytelling workshop aimed at boosting well-being. Speakers are Oana Velcu-Laitinen, brain-based coach, and Andrei Rodionov, a neuroscientist. Supported by HYVÄT, the association for doctoral students at the University of Helsinki.
