Library Enabling Independent Study and Remote Work

The library has canceled all teaching on the campuses and the information seeking workshop in Kaisa and Viikki from the 17th of March to the 31st of May, 2020. 

During the exceptional situation, you can study information seeking by taking online courses or via various learning materials.

If you need online advice how to seek information or use resources, you may book a time for remote information seeking.  You will find the instructions and link to the booking calendar on the remote guidance website.

For the information on the upcoming webinars, look at the schedule.  During the spring 2020, e.g. the RefWorks courses are offered as webinars.  You will find the timetables and the instructions how to register on the Refworks course page.

As a member of the University community you can submit an acquisition proposal normally. However, only electronic material can be made available for the time being.

 

Libraries are being closed all around the world because of the pandemic situation and interlibrary loan services cannot function normally.

During the exceptional situation, interlibrary loan service is working in limited resources. You can submit your request using the online form, and we will get back to you.

During spring 2020 Research Data Management basic lectures (RDM basics) and Data Management Plan workshops (DMP workshops) will be arranged remotely.
