Documentary screening: Creative Resolve: The Future of Global Health

HCAS alumna Nicole Hassoun hosts a screening of the documentary Creative Resolve: The Future of Global Health on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies (Fabianinkatu 24 A, 3rd floor).

explores the transformative power of creative resolve in global health. From the frontlines of Rwanda's HIV fight to the historic eradication of smallpox, the documentary goes behind the scenes with the activists and experts who refused to accept the status quo. It's more than a history of medicine; it's a blueprint for a future where health is a right, not a privilege, and international solidarity is our strongest vaccine.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Nicole Hassoun, Säde Hormio, Simo Kyllönen, and Milla Rantala, focusing on the documentary and its broader implications, with time reserved for audience Q&A.
