Today’s students are the builders of tomorrow’s humanities. This is why the faculty organisation Humanisticum will celebrate its 50th anniversary by organising a future-oriented seminar with the title Humanities of Tomorrow. The seminar is open to everyone and it is held on October 12th from 10AM to 4PM at Porthania’s room PII.
The programme includes many inspiring, thought-provoking and even critical presentations, panel discussions, and thoughts on some key issues for the humanities of the future:
Vice Dean Hanna Snellman opens the seminar
Digital Humanities: Methodological openings
Panel discussion: Interdisciplinarity – a threat or an opportunity?
The challenges and possibilities of open science
