Registration

Registration for the event is now open. Open the registration and abstract submission form here.
Please note: Abstract is also submitted upon registration.

Registration fees

  • Registration 200 EUR is available until 18th January, 2024
  • Late registration 240 EUR without abstract submission is available until 29th February 2024

The registration fee includes the conference programme, materials, lunch on Thursday, refreshments at coffee breaks and the conference dinner and evening programme on Thursday.
Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. More information on the accomodation page.
Please be aware that visa invitation letters will take about 2 weeks to generate, contingent on the production of required documents

Payment

The participation fee is paid when registering for the event. Please see the details in the registration website.

Cancellation policy

Participation can be cancelled until 29th February 2024. You will received a refund minus 50€ administrative charge. Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded. Participation already registered can be transferred to another person from the same organisation at no extra cost. Cancellations, refund requests and registration transfer requests are made by email to grp-virologydays2024@helsinki.fi.

 
Abstracts

Abstract submission for oral and poster presentations

  • Deadline for abstract submission is 18th January, 2024
  • Abstracts submitted after 18th January, 2024 will not be considered.
  • Submit an abstract during registration.
  • The oral and poster presentations are selected based on the abstracts, notified on 15th February, 2024
  • Abstract specification: Abstract main text max 1600 characters including spaces and references if any. In addition, the following are provided: the title (max 100 characters including spaces), author(s), and author affiliation(s).

  • Note: you can check your abstract in the registration system on the following pages: add to cart, then view cart, and return to edit if needed. The abstract does not display properly on the receipt you receive by e-mail.

 

  • Update on 12th January: Abstracts are only used by the scientific committee to decide which people will give talks. We will not be distributing an abstract book, only the titles and authors will be visible to the attendees.
