Practical information

This is where you will find all practical information for your travel and stay in Helsinki. When in doubt, you can also find our contact at the bottom of the page.
Travel and transport

If you are joining us for morning meetings you will most likely have to arrive the day before, based on the availability of flights. Please, coordinate your travel arrangements with your local operational lead.

When arriving in Helsinki Airport it is easy to get to the city centre.

We recommend taking the train from the airport to the city centre. Local trains I and P operate between Helsinki Airport and the city centre on the Ring Rail Line every 5–20 minutes. The journey takes 30 minutes. A regional ABC ticket is required and costs 4,10 euro. You can buy the ticket on the HSL app or in one of the ticket machines.

You can also take a taxi, follow the taxi signs when exiting from the luggage claim. You can read more about the taxi fares on their website. To order a taxi in Helsinki, call +3581000700.

When you have arrived in the city centre, everything is within walking distance (10–20 minutes). Of course, public transport is also available and easy to use; Helsinki has trams, metro and busses. You can find more information on the HSL website.
