On this page you can find information on how to register to the Sixth Biannual Conference, European Society for the History of Political Thought, In Search of the Common Good.

Participation fees and registration form

Participation fee: 60 EUR (online 30 EUR) and 45 EUR for PhD students (online 20 EUR)
For participants attending the whole conference (without presentation), 20 EUR to cover catering services.
Other authorised people: 0 EUR (for students who have applied for exemption)

Please indicate any dietary restrictions and please confirm whether you will attend the conference’s social events (there is no extra charge).

City of Helsinki reception: Aug 25 at 19:00
University reception: Aug 26 at 18:00 – 19:30, event hosted by Prof. Markku Peltonen, Christina Hall, Main Building (Unioninkatu 34)

Registration is open online until 14 August 2022 (for catering purposes). Please note that there will be no on-site registration.

Refunds are not available.

Registration is always binding. Payment is due immediately. By paying conference fees you accept the terms and conditions of the cancellation policy. Fees are payable by credit card, mobile payments (MobilePay, Siirto), or through an online bank transfer (Finnish banks). Payments are made through the Verifone Finland Oy, BlueCommerce website.

Insurance

The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss of or damage to property belonging to conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own travel insurance.

For force majeure reasons, the organisers do not take responsibility for cancellation of the event (in cases of natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes, etc.) In such cases, the organising committee will consider the possibility of refunding pre-paid registration fees.
