On June 2 and June 3, the conference will take place at the University Main Building, Fabianinkatu 33, 00170 Helsinki. The general sessions and one parallel session will be held in Small Hall F4050. On June 2, one parallel session will take place in Karolina Eskelin U3032, and on June 3, one parallel session will be held in Studium 1 F3020. You can enter the Main Building from either Fabianinkatu or Unioninkatu. There are signboards directing you to the venues at both entrances. The Fabianinkatu entrance is closer to Small Hall and Studium 1, while the Unioninkatu entrance is closer to Karolina Eskelin.
On June 4, the conference will be held at Metsätalo, Sali 1, Unioninkatu 40, 00170 Helsinki. There are no parallel sessions on June 4.
Public transport and accessibility
Both the Main Building of the University of Helsinki and Metsätalo are easily accessible by train, metro, bus, and tram. The Main Railway Station and the Helsinki University metro stop are a short walk away. All conference rooms are accessible for individuals with mobility limitations. If you have mobility limitations, please enter the Main Building through the Fabianinkatu entrance and Metsätalo through the Unioninkatu entrance.
For local travel in Helsinki (including travel from and to the airport by train) we recommend that you use the public transport HSL. For the airport, you will need an HSL zone ABC ticket, while for downtown public transport an HSL zone AB ticket will be sufficient. You can buy HSL tickets from e.g. R-kiosks or (conveniently) from the HSL app. See HSL webpage for more information.

University reception will take place on June 2 at 18.15 in Christina hall (U2085), which is in the same building as the conference. No additional registration is needed for this event.
The conference dinner takes place on June 3 at 19:00 at Restaurant Rioni, Kasarmikatu 25, 00130 Helsinki. See the menu. In the conference registration form, you can select either GEORGIAN SUPRA (meat included) or VEGGIE SUPRA.
If the registration form has already closed, you may reserve a table personally at Restaurant Rioni, if they still have availability. Inform them that you belong to the conference group so that they can place you appropriately.
There are several restaurants near the conference venues. Additionally, two restaurants are offering a conference discount.
On June 2-3, Ristorante il Siciliano (Pohjoisesplanadi 21, 00100 Helsinki) will provide a discount using the code "Method and Convergence." The prices are as follows: pizza for €13.90 and meat/fish dishes for €16.90.
On June 4, Hotel Arthur (Vuorikatu 19, 00100 Helsinki) will also offer a discount with the code "Method and Convergence," at a price of €13.70. Please note that Hotel Arthur does not accept cash payments.
