Excursion starts from the Centre of Helsinki, from bus stop in front of the Kiasma Museum (Mannerheiminaukio 1) at 10 o'clock sharp. We will return to Kiasma at 14 o'clock.
At the Centre we will be introduced to the collection storage and conservation spaces. Dyes and dyed treasures from the collections will be in the focus of the tour. Keep in mind, that Collection Centre is huge and tour requires somewhat walking.

Metropolia is the only place in Finland where conservators are educated. We will tour around the facilities and discuss about conservation and conservation treatments of dyed textiles and painted artefacts.
