Venue

The conference will take place at the Main Building of the University of Helsinki (address: Fabianinkatu 33). The main building is located in the centre of Helsinki and is well connected to public transportation. Use HSL journey planner to plot your way there.

Getting to Helsinki

Airport and public transportation

Helsinki-Vantaa airport is the main airport of Finland, and there are a lot of direct flights to Helsinki-Vantaa especially from Europe and Asia. The airport is situated approximately 19 kilometers from the centre of Helsinki. The airport can be reached by train and bus.

Trains from and to the airport

There is a direct train connection between Helsinki-Vantaa airport and Helsinki City Centre. The conference venue is just a 10-minute walk from the centre railway station.

The train connection between the airport and the city centre takes approximately 30 minutes. There are two services (train I and train P) between the airport and the city centre. Please visit HSL website for more information about schedules, ticket prices and routes.

You can purchase your train ticket at various spots at the airport, for example, from HSL ticket machines.

Please note that tickets are not sold on trains.

Buses from and to airport

You can also reach the airport by bus.

Bus 615 and Finnair City Bus serve the airport.

Public transport is easy to use in Helsinki.

You can travel with a single ticket (Helsinki internal or regional) or with a tourist ticket (Helsinki internal or regional).
