Research, experimentation and development (RED) activities are an important part of the teacher training school operations, and each teacher training school has a dedicated group to coordinate RED activities. Training school teachers are also encouraged to carry out their own research and conduct development and experimentation projects. A key aim of RED activities is to raise the profile and visibility of this work.
Teacher training schools also participate in research projects conducted by external parties. University students can use teacher training schools to collect data for their Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation, and post doc researchers for their research. If you are interested in collecting research data at Norssi, please contact our RED coordinator Marko van den Berg (marko.vandenberg[at]helsinki.fi).
