We plan to utilize GPS and the emerging 5G infrastructure for positioning. We will consider the placement of the mini-SMEAR stations in order to optimise coverage and accuracy of the pollution generation process  as  well  as  study  urban  mobility  patterns  for  the  placement  of  micro-SMEAR stations. The project will assess low-cost (tens to hundreds of euros) air pollution sensors (micro) such as the Sensordrone mini (Vaisala AQT-410), and the high accuracy SMEAR stations that monitor over 1200 different pollutants every second.
