Granted mobility funding 2021

In 2021, the ReNEW steering group approved the payment of mobility grants to six researchers.

Jannick Friis Christensen (Postdoctoral research, Copenhagen Business School): A one month research stay at the University of Iceland in 2022.Research project: Beyond Pinkwash: Pride Parades and Integrative Civil Religion.

Norbert Götz (Professor, Södertörn University): A one month research stay at the University of Helsinki in 2021. Research project: The Moral Economy of Populism in the Nordic Countries.

Laura Kallatsa (Postdoctoral researcher, University of Helsinki): A one month research stay at the University of Oslo in 2021. Research project: Sense of Spiritual Belonging during the COVID-19 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

Larisa Kangaspuro (PhD, research coordinator/project leader, University of Helsinki): One and a half month research stay at the European University Institute at Florence in 2022. Research project: A Nordic Multicultural Prison: A Case Study of Eastern European offenders.

Anne Lundahl Mauritsen (PhD student, AU): One month research stay at the University of Oslo in 2021. Research project: Understanding the Scandinavian Paradox – an Interdisciplinary Investigation of Nonreligion and Cultural Religion in a Nordic Context.

Frederick Whitling (Senior research fellow): A four month research stay at the Finnish Institute at Athens in 2021. Research project: Other Philhellenisms. Perspectives on Slavic and Baltic Philhellenism.
