In September 26-29, 2019 our team spent a memorable lab retreat in the Kilpisjärvi Biological station, located in the very northern part of Lapland, Finland. In the mornings and evenings lab members presented shortly their research projects, followed by lively discussions. In the first afternoon we went hiking on the amazing Saana mountain. In the second afternoon we took a ferry to the other side of the Kilpisjärvi lake, and hiked to the Three Nations' Border Point (Finland-Sweden-Norway). During the retreat we were also very lucky to see spectacular Northern lights (see picture above)!
