ACTNOW - towards understanding of cumulative impacts on marine biodiversity

ACTNOW is a collaborative Pan-European work programme providing knowledge and tools to combat marine biodiversity loss.

Within ACTNOW our lab is utilising large-scale observational data to identify and quantify cumulative impacts of multiple drivers on marine plankton communities and their stability. We apply joint species distribution models integrating data on community composition, environmental change and species traits to assess plankton responses to multiple stressors.

The research programme is coordinated by Myron Peck (NIOZ, NL) and you can follow our progress on the ACTNOW website.
