Research
Our research focuses on individual differences in and the development of motivation (e.

g., goals, interest, values, and expectancies), learning, and well-being (e.g., emotions, perfectionistic strivings, burnout, and stress), with a particular emphasis on mathematics.

Through our studies, we aim to

  • gain knowledge on the developmental antecedents and consequences of individual differences in motivation, learning, and well-being
  • gain knowledge on the developmental interplay between motivation, learning, and well-being
  • understand the situational dynamics of motivation, learning, and well-being
  • identify important personal and contextual factors that influence the development of motivation, learning, and well-being

Our group belongs to the Learning Research and Educational Psychology Research Community.
